Xi'an these two words to me, as if is the ancient and precipitation pronoun. I always have a wish: to visit four ancient cities in China. Having been to Lijiang and Pingyao, Xi'an and Fenghuang are naturally on the agenda.

In the three-day holiday of new year's day in 2013, I checked the air ticket + hotel (2 nights) on Ctrip, which is only 1200 yuan / person. The tempting price and palpitating heart push me to carry my backpack and set off for Xi'an without hesitation!

Ancient cultural capital

D1 flew from Beijing to Xi'an in the early morning, which took about two hours. When I got off the plane, I felt that Xi'an was much warmer than Beijing. The warm sunshine and blue sky are like the climate of late autumn in Beijing. Because it's a free trip on Ctrip, just in time for Ctrip's free pick-up activity, so as soon as we get out of the airport, someone will pick us up and deliver us to the hotel.

Xianyang Airport is not close to Xi'an, about 40 minutes by car. When you enter the urban area of Xi'an, you immediately smell a strong sense of history. The majestic city gate, the ancient city wall, and even the billboards on the roadside are all people in ancient clothes

We live in Lemon Hotel (Nanmen store) in Xi'an, address: No.89, Nanguan Main Street, nanmenwai, Beilin District, Xi'an. The hotel has not been open for a long time, and the settings are very new. What impresses me most about this hotel is "sense of technology". The TV is on demand, the curtains are remote controlled, and light music is playing in the room. The bed is big and comfortable. Although a little bit of unpleasantness happened later, it was solved reasonably soon and was quite satisfactory. The location of the hotel is outside the south gate, about one stop from Huimin street. We walk to Huimin street every day for dinner, which is more convenient.

Because we only had half a day to visit in Xi'an, we only went to the bell and Drum Tower, the big wild goose pagoda and the ancient city wall (South Gate). When we went there, we were just in time for the maintenance of the bell and Drum Tower, which was covered with scaffolding. Basically, we couldn't see anything clearly. So there was no photo taken.

When you come to Xi'an, one of the necessary scenic spots is the wild goose pagoda. Dayan Pagoda is located in the southern suburb of Xi'an, at the south end of Yanta Road outside Hepingmen. In dacien temple. To climb the pagoda, we need to buy tickets to the temple first, so we just looked outside.

There is a Guangcheng in the north and south of the big wild goose pagoda, and there is a music fountain performance in the North Square, which is known as the largest in Asia. The performance time is: 12:00 and 21:00 from Monday to Friday (no performance at noon on Tuesday), 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 21:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The performance time of each performance is 20 minutes, and the performance time in winter evening is 30 minutes earlier than that in summer.

The ancient city wall of Xi'an is surrounded by the ancient city. We went to the South Gate nearest to our residence. You can rent a bicycle to visit the city wall.

Here's a warm reminder: the roads on the city wall are all brick roads. It's very bumpy to ride a bicycle on them, especially the next day. I suggest you don't ride for too long.

Majestic Huashan

Huashan, one of the five mountains, is famous for its precipitousness and is located in Huayin City, Weinan, Shaanxi Province. We get to Huashan north about 30 minutes by train from Xi'an north in the morning. The second class seat costs 55 yuan. Take the tourist bus in Huashan north, and you can reach Huashan Scenic spot at 10 yuan.

First of all, buy the tickets of the scenic spot and the shuttle bus tickets inside the scenic spot at the ticket office at the entrance of the scenic spot. The off-season ticket is 100 yuan, and the Ferry Bus seems to be 40 yuan. You have to take a ferry to get to the foot of Huashan Mountain, so you have to buy a ticket.

Huashan is windy and steep. We suggest that you keep warm and safe when climbing Huashan in winter.

Shocking terracotta warriors

When you come to Xi'an, you should all go to see the terracotta warriors and horses. I used to think that the terracotta warriors and horses were just a few pottery figurines placed in the museum. When you really see hundreds of terracotta warriors and war horses in the huge pits, you are still shocked.

Located on Qinling Road, Lintong District, the terracotta warriors and horses of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty can be reached by taking you 5 at Xi'an railway station (the ticket price seems to be 8 yuan). Paradise of food

It is estimated that we have heard about all kinds of snacks in Xi'an. It's really a paradise for food. The Huimin Street generation alone can make your stomach crooked. I remember one night when I was eating paomo in Huimin street, I ran into a couple who also came from Beijing. They were trying out their delicious food strategies one by one. Ha ha, it seems that there are more senior eaters than me!

This kind of persimmon is totally different from the sun dried persimmon we usually eat. This one is made of persimmon, flour and bean paste, which are unique to Lintong. It tastes like fried cake in old Beijing. The taste is sweet, the skin is a little crisp and sticky. The fresh persimmon is very small. It's juicy and sweet.

In my hometown, I also drank the famous Bingfeng soda in Xi'an, which is similar to the Arctic Ocean soda in Beijing, but I feel better than the Arctic Ocean.
